Like other Peperomia species, the Peperomia Obtusifolia doesn't require a lot of water. You should only water the plant once the top one or two inches of the soil dries completely. Water the plant thoroughly and let the water flow from the drainage hole into the saucer. The number one killer of Peperomia plant is over-watering so watch out for signs such as waterlogged soil, wilting and/or yellowing leaves.
